What constitutes correct behaviour, an orderly pattern?

What constitutes the way to be so as to know harmony and peace?

That is the dilemma mankind has yet to determine.

I tell you now, it is not morality....

....though most will believe they honour the code each person, through their experiences, sets in place their interpretation of the way to be....

....a child's morals, ethics, are formed from another's belief and experiences, is founded on that taught from birth within their home environment.

When they begin interacting within the wider community they discover that not all think or act as they....

....as they explore self and interact with their peers they adjust or let go their earlier beliefs.

Free will is the soul's birthright, free will to be, free will to choose, not to be....

.... so as they mature their experiences enable them to know they have a choice and they begin to choose what works and what does not for their own way.

The dictionary defines morals as:

of or relating to principles of right or wrong in behaviour, ethical, virtuous, good.

Herein lays the dilemma which prevents society being a place of harmony and goodwill....

.... upon whose opinion of – the way to be – is this code based, is it yours or another's?

....most know a period when they adjust their level of acceptance as they define through their experiences what will work for them and what will not....

....so though it appears that all agree there are ripples of discontent for mankind has developed, evolved and so what was is no longer what is.

I speak of this for within the earth there is great unrest, disharmony....

.... some are seeking to return to what was whilst others seek to remove all boundaries....

.... others find their self swaying first one way then the other seeking to make sense of it all.

Fear of what might be controls many so they stay locked into what is.

Harmony will be known when each is allowed the right to choose for self.

To choose that way of being there would have to be a radical letting go of what was and is which would pose another moral dilemma...

....each would have to redefine their self.

I offer here an overall view of what is. I offer you opportunity to ponder, consider, and with your free will, define for you.

I do not advocate this way or that way, you create this through your thought about it.

Morality, my way or your way, mankind's dilemma.

Morality, a way of being that has its basis on an acceptable code of conduct; acceptable that is to the majority of the people; customs emerge from this and become the accepted way to be.

What constitutes correct behaviour, an orderly pattern? What constitutes the way to be so as to know harmony and peace? That is the dilemma mankind has yet to determine.

I tell you now, it is not morality, though most will believe they honour the code each person, through their experiences, sets in place their interpretation of the way to be, so if you were to ask just ten people for their honest view upon any number of behaviour patterns you would have great difficulty reaching a consensus of opinion on most.

If they are acceptable to the majority why do they vary so much? It is because a child's morals, ethics, are formed from another's belief and experiences, is founded on that taught from birth within their home environment.

When they begin interacting within the wider community they discover that not all think or act as they, as they explore self and interact with their peers they adjust or let go their earlier beliefs.

Free will is the soul's birthright, free will to be, free will to choose, not to be, so as they mature their experiences enable them to know they have a choice and they begin to choose what works and what does not for their own way.

All do not choose to think or act as one so why did a code of conduct come into being?

In the beginning it was not a conscious choice but a natural expansion of their spiritual way that brought harmony of being.

When life on earth was in its infancy mankind lived in groups, either one extended family or several, for as they sought understanding of their chosen way each was dependant upon the good will and support of another.

Each group brought harmony of way and will through their desire to know unity of purpose; through their experiences standards arose enabling each to contribute for the good of all. As gradually the various groups began to mingle disharmony of way became known for each group had developed according to what worked for them so a code of conduct agreeable to all came into being.

With the passage of time progress was made in the creation of life supports which enabled individual pursuits and the people began to exercise self in the sense of choosing to be in a manner, way, which worked for self.

At first this was not a noticeable change because life was all consuming but it became more evident as the population grew for there was a greater need for unity of will and way to provide for all. Those who had begun to focus on self, the individual, differed in their opinion as to how to proceed, many believed they had a greater claim to what was offered within the community than those who sort to join with them. Does that not sound familiar? The debate over individual rights brought disharmony that in turn led to divisions within the community.

To restore harmony those who held the majority belief decided they needed to create rules for communal living, these rules differed from the code of conduct previously created for the first was formed from present experience whereas the latter was formed from present knowledge as well as memory of soul purpose as being life purpose.

When the souls first began to walk the earth in a physical body all were aware of their true purpose in being, as time passed some began to let go of these memories as life in the earth began to become their reality, but there were those who remembered and shared their memories with all who would listen, so through word of mouth memory of soul purpose were passed down generation to generation until there came to be scribes who recorded these memories.

All written had a basis in truth but over time words had become changed and that recorded coloured by the writers own perceptions of the right way to be, often favouring one gender over the other.

These became the scriptures which in time formed the basis for further laws, giving rise to the moral code as each group defined or upheld their belief pattern, and those who would not or did not conform held accountable.

Leaders were chosen to provide direction for the people, some were fair and just and truly served the people who in turn had the freedom to be as they chose within the law, but others leaders enjoyed their position of power and began to interpret the law to benefit their self and their way, redefining their code of morality, for the people it was not a period of peace and harmony as they did not have the right of dissent. Many chose to embrace the new code with the desire to enhance their own standing in the community.

Within most lands today the people are no longer subservient to the will of their appointed leader for they believe it is the role of the leader to serve them, they have a voice and desire that it be heard.

There is unrest within the lands that do not permit a public voice for through technology the people have opportunity to observe another way and know that it is their right to be heard.

The dictionary defines morals as: of or relating to principles of right or wrong in behaviour, ethical, virtuous, good. Herein lays the dilemma which prevents society being a place of harmony and goodwill, upon whose opinion of – the way to be – is this code based, is it yours or another's?

Many still look to their scriptures to provide the basis of the present day laws but not only is there many belief patterns, each with their own scriptures, within each belief pattern people have created other patterns, so whose scriptures and whose interpretation of theses scriptures should be honoured or looked to brings another dilemma.

The scriptures came into being first through the memory of what was and then later prophets spoke of visions and masters entered with the soul purpose to be a light in the darkness of mankind's forgetfulness.

I say it as this for when one remembers their true nature, their natural state of being, then they are enlightened, with enlightenment comes lightness of being, with lightness of being the glow of love lights the way.

Love is life, life is love, the memory of this is within all and this was the message brought forth by those termed as master or prophet, therefore though the scriptures were created with the desire to enhance and free mankind, mankind chose to create rules in regard to their application, not to free but to control, not to unite but separate.

Though many state that all are equal, have equal right within the law, there is a very big but, but only if you do or be in the manner that is the right way to be, my way, that which has arisen from my belief pattern, but once more arises the dilemma, who defines which belief pattern, who defines what is right and what is wrong?

There has always been an acceptable code of behaviour, practiced either through belief in it or a desire to be in harmony, most honour it without a thought about it for it permits within the majority peaceful interaction, though one the majority practice most know a period when they adjust their level of acceptance as they define through their experiences what will work for them and what will not, so though it appears that all agree there are ripples of discontent for mankind has developed, evolved and so what was is no longer what is.

There has never been an agreement on the level the code should be honoured or revisited.

Some are very rigid in their belief and will not bend even slightly believing that what has been should remain. Some who base their moral code on their scriptures refuse to consider that the interpretation of these may be distorted through time translation and their own experiences. Some believe that each should be free to be as they choose as long as they don't impose their way upon another without permission.

I speak of this for within the earth there is great unrest, disharmony, some are seeking to return to what was whilst others seek to remove all boundaries, others find their self swaying first one way then the other seeking to make sense of it all. Fear of what might be controls many so they stay locked into what is.

Harmony will be known when each is allowed the right to choose for self. Anarchy, I hear the cry now.

Anarchy is defined as: an ideal society having no government and made up of individuals who enjoy complete freedom.

To choose that way of being there would have to be a radical letting go of what was and is which would pose another moral dilemma, for through the removal of their belief in obedience to the will of another, My will, church law, moral code, each would have to redefine their self.

All are accustomed to being controlled, living within boundaries, therefore if mankind were to choose this way of being they would at first be like a ship without a rudder, but belief in their right of self determination is a soul memory within, gradually each would choose to harmonize with another, then a group, then several groups, as did those who walked the earth long ago for all know within the desire to be their true essence, love.

Behaviour that permits the power play that is so evident within the earth becomes unacceptable when the desire to know harmony of being is from within. The soul's innate wisdom will guide, will choose to know itself as peace and love.

Love does not seek to overpower, love does not seek to control, love does not seek to be superior, love is the equaliser for love is the union of will and purpose which is the soul's sole purpose for its journey within the physical body.

I offer here an overall view of what is. I offer you opportunity to ponder, consider, and with your free will, define for you. I do not advocate this way or that way, you create this through your thought about it.

Ponder on this. Many of the scriptures state thou shall not kill but also state instances when it is acceptable to do so, one being when another does not embrace your belief, another when one steps apart from the laws based on these scriptures.

Think on the many laws that have come into being embracing these and other aspects, see the anomaly and wonder not at the unrest within many lands.

Unrest arising from changes that have or are being set in place, I will speak of some in a further reading and offer thoughts to bring another perspective.

Be open to a new thought, one who is open permits the light of understanding to enter.
